Terms and conditions

Last updated 1 September 2026. Applies to Hubba Training Limited, registered in Scotland.

The agreement

These terms are between Hubba Training Ltd and the nursery, group or childminder that opens an account. The person who opens the account confirms they can bind that organisation.

Plans and billing

  • Plans are a fixed price per nursery site a month, with unlimited staff places, and no VAT is added. Everyone who works at the nursery can have a login.
  • Monthly plans renew each month and can be cancelled from Billing at any time, taking effect at the next renewal. Yearly plans are billed once and renew each year.
  • Moving up a plan applies straight away and is charged pro rata. Moving down applies from the next bill.
  • The free trial lasts 30 days, needs no card, and nothing is charged unless you add one.
  • Add-ons such as Hubba Training Passport are billed alongside the plan, per nursery site, and can be switched off from the next bill.

Content and certificates

Courses, policies and webinars are licensed to your organisation for the people on your account. Certificates are issued to the individual and remain theirs. You may download and print course and policy material for use in your own setting, and may not resell it.

The community

Members keep the rights to what they post and give Hubba a licence to display it. Hubba has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We deal with every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks the community rules, and remove the person who posted it from Community or from Hubba. Anonymous posting is protected as set out in the privacy policy.

Availability and support

We aim for the platform to be available at all times and will give notice of planned maintenance. Support is available by email and phone during UK working hours.

Liability

Hubba provides training and policy content in good faith and keeps it current with guidance, but responsibility for compliance in a setting remains with the registered provider. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before a claim, except where the law does not allow that limit.

Ending the agreement

You can close the account at any time. We keep training records for six years afterwards so that inspectors can verify them, and you can export everything before you leave.

Law

Scots law applies, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction, without affecting the rights of customers in England and Wales.
