Hubba uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use Google Analytics or any other company's tracking, and we do not track you across other sites. The optional ones are off until you say yes.
These are needed for Hubba to work, so they cannot be switched off.
| Name | What it is for | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| sb-...-auth-token | Keeps you signed in. The name starts sb- and ends -auth-token, and a long one is split into parts ending .0, .1 and so on | Until you sign out, and no more than 400 days |
| hubba_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
| hubba-side | Which part of Hubba you used last, when your nursery has more than one Hubba product | One year |
| inspections-nation | Whether you are looking at England's or Scotland's reports in Hubba Inspections | 12 hours |
| inspections-guest-areas | The local authorities you chose in Hubba Inspections without an account | 30 days |
| Name | What it is for | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| hubba_vid | Visit statistics: tells one return visit to our website from another, so we can see which pages help. It never holds your name, and nothing is shared with anyone else | One year |
| hubba_ivid | Visit statistics: the same for Hubba Inspections, so we can see which of its pages are used and what is clicked | One year |
| hubba_gid | Free-minutes counter: counts your free minutes on this device when you use Hubba Inspections without an account. A copy is kept in your browser's own storage so the count carries on if the cookie is cleared. It never holds your name | 400 days |
With visit statistics switched on we also keep the number of the visit you are on in your browser's own storage (hubba_sid on our website, hubba_isid in Hubba Inspections). With the free-minutes counter switched on we also take a fingerprint made from plain facts about your browser (screen size, time zone, languages and similar). If you say no to the counter, your free minutes are counted on our servers by the address your connection comes from instead, and nothing is kept on your device.
You can change your mind here at any time. Your choice counts on our website and in Hubba Inspections alike.
Courses run inside Hubba and store your progress on our servers rather than in cookies, so you can carry on from another device.
